I have a list of over 200 names which contains many duplicates. Im looking for the quickest way to sort these names into a list so that each only appears once. This will have to be done in an auto_open macro each time the file is opened. I'm looking for speed because this macro already does other stuff which takes up a bit of time. Any suggestions?

1. Turn on the macro recorder.
2. Select your list and choose Data, Filter, Advanced Filter from the menu.
3. Click Copy to another location, specify the location, click Unique records only and click OK.
4. Select the new list and choose Data Sort from the menu and click OK.
5. Turn off the macro recorder.
6. That code should get you started.
