Sorting xls with photos..jpg in column A

Can anyone tell me how to sort a xls spreadsheet where the first field is a photo attachment/jpg.

Try describing more of what you want...sorting a range by pictures in terms of what -- their names, or size, or extension, or what. And what if they overlap rows, what then.
