Hi Everyone,

Could anyone help me please.

I have converted data into excel file from accounting software - SAP. The figures I have are all in text and are 535.627,44 or 3.525.038,65 format. I have these dots and comma issue. Excel does not understand that it is numbers. Can anyone help me to convert these data into numbers.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Eugene

When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
Assuming that your normal number format is "," for thousand separator and "." as decimal indicator try this manual method (could be done by macro)

Select the column
Find/Replace (Ctrl+H) -> Find what: . -> Replace with: leave blank -> Replace All
Find/Replace (Ctrl+H) -> Find what: , -> Replace with: . -> Replace All
