Sounds a bit odd but is it possible to "reprint" an existing PDF file?

I believe that this is not possible but I am trying to help OP of this thread. I do not really understand the issue but I want to try to assist if possible.

He needs to create a PDF binder containing hundreds of PDF files with "signatures." For some reason it seems that without recreating/reprinting the PDFs (OP says print as PDF) before putting them into a binder the "signatures" are not included. OP says "I need to print As PDF first manually to retain the signatures."

Not sure if merely renaming then saving will work but I presume not. I thought that perhaps embedding the original into Excel then printing it will work.

So, is there a way to use the built-in pdf creation functionality of Excel to "print" an existing PDF to another folder so the originals are not affected? If so does user have to interact with Adobe app after "printing" is completed.

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Based on research it does seem that it is possible to embed a pdf then "print" it. Importantly the need requires that code 1. prints to Excel's built-in Adobe PDF printer and 2. puts the resulting file created into a different folder.

I am totally feeling around in the dark though trying to get to a solution. I found this thread and others that seem to be addressing the need, but I cannot get any to work for me. I ran the code from that thread and I get an error message which tells me that it "Can't save embedded object to" my desktop. And it does not print to Excel's built-in Adobe PDF which is needed.

Should I stop trying? It seems that some pretty arcane programming -- way beyond my understanding -- is needed to do what was requested.
