Specific increment sequence in the denomination of .25, .5, .75, whole number

Hi,

I need a formula to show a value being increased to a certain decimal (.25, .5, .75, 00) everytime the value is between certain ranges. Essentially rounding the value to .25 decimal points whichever one is lower?

I.e. -
9.16 = 9.25
10.74 = 10.75
11.96=12
5.33 = 5.50

Not sure i understand exactly - can you give example of Lower?

Oh I see 5.33 is 5.5

work,
otherwise 5.33, becomes 5.25 and you want to round up to 5.5
