Spin Button Control - Incremental Change

Hi folks,

Quick question - I've added spin button control into a worksheet and linked it to a cell. I'm using it to input a price (which later will be used for price elasticity simulations). However, it only allows me to have increments of $1 ($1.00, $2.00...) I need it increase/decrease by the penny ($1.98, $1.99....). Is there a way to do this?

Many thanks in advance!

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN

Good evening VBA_Newbie

It depends on what type of control you're using. If you're using the control from the Forms toolbar, then no. You would have more control from the control in the ControlToolbox toolbar.

However, the cell the user sees increment needn't be the actual cell that is linked to the control. If the linked cell is, say, Z1 out of the users field of view, cell A1 could have a fomula =Z1/100. The user would see the cell incrementing by $0.01 at a time.

You can't specify a decimal increment for any spin button.

What you would need to do would use some sort of workaround where you divide by 100, something like Domenic has suggested perhaps.
