Does Excel think that there is always 29 days in Feb ? I'm doing a spreadsheet that has leadtime dates on it and formulas calculate dates every seven days. It always includes the 29th Feb and throws all my formulas out !

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Welcome to the board!

Are you sure you have 2005 as your year? Excel will think there's a Feb 29th only in leap years...

Are you using 2005 or 2004? Because in 2004 there are 29 days. It works ok for me. What is the formula you are using?

Like someone once said to me - A computer will only do what you tell it. The dates were for some reason 2004 and not 2005 ( can't work out why that happened) so now I have ammended them it now takes feb as having 28 days - thanks for the help guys !
