Spreadsheet starts getting "Out of Memory" errors out of the blue.

I made a spreadsheet with some macros for someone whose computer is much better than mine. Today, he started getting "Out of memory" errors on this spreadsheet even though nothing much about it had changed. So, I improved some of the code to reduce memory usage and ran it on my computer. It worked fine, even better than before. I sent it to him, and he is still getting "Out of Memory" errors. What is going on here? Why did it start messing up all of a sudden? And what can I do to fix it?

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Have you compared the specifications for both machines?
Are they running the same versions of Operating System and Office?
Could it be a hardware (memory) fault problem?
How large is the workbook?
