I am trying to design a workbook that would calculate an annual expensed amount, for a multi-year prepaid agreement. We have a $450,000 five year subscription and software contract, and would like to design a spreadsheet that would amortize and track the annual (once a year) expense.

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
that's not that difficult, but the description isn't 100%.
Do you want to pay 450.000 during 5 years with what interest rate ? Are you paying the the beginning or the end of the year, ...

??? Can't help you with such a description.
450.000 $ / 5 years = 90.000 $ / year with 3 vendors = 30.000 $ / vendor / year.
