SQL question

Hi

I have never used an sequel server application although I have medium knwldege of the language. What application is it that you use to manipulate sql statements? I wanting to download a trial version from somewere???

I really want to get involved in SQL, but finding it hard for an opportunity at the munite.. Been offered opps within businesss objects but this is not quite the same...

Do you know were I can get a large data base of example data to play around with?

I believe if you download SQL Server Express from Microsoft you can also elect to download a sample database too (like Northwind) - check out Microsoft.com.

Is express pretty similar to the server edition? Layout etc etc

I believe to all intents and purposes it will be pretty much identical - especially when it comes to the SQL language implementation.
