Stacked Column Chart - How do I get data to show as a percentage of total value?

I have created a stacked column chart. I want my y-axis labels to be the dollar values and my x-axis to be the dates. Within the stacked bar graph however, I want the different shaded groups to show their percentage of the total dollar value. So example below

A B C D
Category 1/1/14 2/1/14 3/1/14
Small $1 $2 $3
Medium $4 $5 $6
Large $5 $7 $8
Total $10 $14 $17

Right now when I create the stacked column chart, y-axis shows up to 20 and x-axis shows the dates. The stacked data points however still show number values and I am unsure of how to change them to a % of the total for that month. For example on March 1st for Large, I would want the data label on the stacked column to show 47% (8/17) rather than $8.

Anyone help with this?

Thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
Well I found I can link the individual data labels to a part on the spreadsheet. If anyone has a faster solution for the future it would be greatly appreciated!
