When I double click an Excel file, Excel opens but the file does not load. also, some of the menu items are disabled? I have looked at the file association and it appears correct. Any suggestions
If you open Excel and go to Tools->Options, General tab, is "Ignore other applications" checked? If it is, clear it, click OK, Close Excel and try again.
Otherwise, if you open Excel first and go to File->Open, do the files open fine?
