Hi all, I'm a bit rusty on the stats and can't work out how to do this problem:

Have a batch of 100, need a sample n such that i get a confidence c that this sample is representative of the batch.

Excel Facts

Control Word Wrap
Press Alt+Enter to move to a new row in a cell. Lets you control where the words wrap.
Try this

=CONFIDENCE(D6,3,100)

selecting =confidience gives some options and ranges to choose.

Hope this helps
