Hi Guys,
I got a problem and I just can't fix it.

Whenever I select a cell and then move the mouse it copies a whole range of cells and the only way of exiting is to either ctrol alt del or right click on icon and close.

Anyone know of a fix.

Thanks
G

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
First thing is to check that you do not have the EXT mode turned on.
Do you see the letters EXT on the Excel status bar? If you do, press F8 to turn the EXT mode off and you should be fine.

Other than that there is no definite fix that I am currently aware of. however I can suggest reading this link for what little I do know about it:
