Hi

Im trying to make a new formula whereby I use different ranges that have to match to find a total(SUM)

In a field on the next page, I am trying to get a working formula that when selecting either "Ret" or "Act" in B and any corresponding code in field H and multiply this by the corresponding field in K, then have the total of either returned stock or supplied stock.

Hi Tines,
you probably want to use a SUMIF or SUMIFS formula to do that. If you e.g. use

=SUMIFS($K$2:$K7,$B$2:$B7,"Act")

and drag that formula down, you get a running sum.
So a formula like:

=SUMIFS($K$2:$K7,$B$2:$B7,"Act",$H$2:$H7,"BLA003")-SUMIFS($K$2:$K7,$B$2:$B7,"Ret",$H$2:$H7,"BLA003")

The first SUMIFS calculates the Act total, the second one deducts the Ret total.
