Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
If you validate A1 with the formula
=(1=COUNTIF(A:A,A1))
you can then Copy/PasteSpecial Validation to the needed column.
