Stopwatch Time Calculation Help

Upon formatting my cells the all the formats seem to show in the form of time, even if in the actual cell it looks like it can be by Hours and seconds

Example: 0:00.0 or 0:00:0

but in the Formula Bar, it always shows AM or PM.

Formula bar shows the number in the default system format (set in Windows Regional settings).
In-cell display will be whatever format you set within Excel.
If for some reson you want even formula bar to show 24 hrs (or some other) format, change it from Control Panel --> Regional & Language Options.
