Storing Values into Dynamic Array

I am having so much trouble with this. This is a different aspect of my previous post. As I am searching through the text file, if I find a value that looks like a date that I need to store, I want to store it into an array; pubTransDates(). However, I am running into a subscript error because I do not have an idea of the size of the array. If I attempt to reDim my array each time I encounter a value that I want to store, it loses the other values.

Any way to store into a dynamic array without having to run my code twice, the first time to count and the second time to store?

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
One option is the preserve keyword to resize the array without losing the data (you can only resize the last dimension)
Code:
Redim [B]Preserve[/B] (0 to x)

Another is to set the array bounds high and resize as needed. Some don't like using redim preserve because resizing is resource intensive - but if you aren't dealing with many thousands of elements you won't notice any performance issues. Since you're in Access-world you could also create a recordset on the fly and add your data to it. Other options in VBA-world are collections and dictionaries - basically, you are spoiled for choice.
