String search and change

Hi,

Asume that i have the following date 01.02.2011 and i want that a vba code will change it to 01/02/2011 ( put "/" instead of ".").

How can i do it ?

Try:

Range("A1") = Replace(Range("A1"), ".", "/")
End Sub

or you can use format cell in excel
or:

Sub test()
Range("A1").NumberFormat = "m/d/yyyy"
End Sub
