I need to replace whatever vba uses for newlines (when you press alt+enter in a cell) in a string to "%0A", how can this be done best?

I tried this but it did not work:
VBA Code:
 desc = Replace(desc, vbNewLine, "%0A")

Can you AutoAverage in Excel?
There is a drop-down next to the AutoSum symbol. Open the drop-down to choose AVERAGE, COUNT, MAX, or MIN
Try
VBA Code:
desc = Replace(desc, chr(10), "%0A")

Try
VBA Code:
desc = Replace(desc, chr(10), "%0A")
That worked, thank you.

Is there a list of the chr numbers? I also need to replace some symbols (the bullet point from outlook) but cannot see a chr number for it.
