It's been years since I did this sort of formula, I'm thinking I'm doing the right thing with a formula to sort some data.......
I have a spreadsheet of data from yesterday & a new spreadsheet of data for today (this will be happening daily) & I need to see what has changed.... I thought if I used an if statement below it would look at the new data in column A & compare it to the data in column C & show true or fail.
=IF(A5=$C$2:$C$950,"true","fail")
The above only shows true if the data on the same row is the same.
The data is data sorted so that it's in numerical order. But it brings back fails when the data is within the c2:c950 range in a different row.
I know it's going to be easy but I just can't get it this morning!! Please help?!![Confused  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Thanks.
