Subqueries in Access

Hi guys.

Just a simple question about subqueries in Access 2010.

Every time I want to create complicated queries I need to write 100% of the SQL code manually because I use tons of sub queries.

I was wondering what was the best way to create subqueries in Access without manually coding everything.

I very often create complicated subqueries that I join with other subqueries and would like for clarity to be able to use the Design view of access to see what I'm joining or grouping etc. Once the subquery is created in SQL I can see it in design view but not before!! Am I missing something?

Thanks

What are you using all these subqueries for?

So how are you using subqueries for that?

Are you sure they are the only way to do what you want?

Yes, absolutely sure. I need to filter and view the data in a certain way before being able to make more complex manipulations.

Can you post a sample query/subquery?

That might give us an idea of what you are doing so we can help.

You can't directly create a subquery in design view but I have cheated occasionally by combining queries that I built in design view. Example...
