Subscript out of range

Hi guys

Any ideas why i am getting subscript out of range on the following

Workbooks("Workbook1").Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("B25:R75").Value = Workbooks("Workbook2").Worksheets("sheet8").Range("b3:r53").Value

The workbook names and sheets are correct and spelling is all OK.

Do you see the file extension in the title bar? If so, add it to the workbook names in your code.

Yea. I have tried it both with and without but no joy. I have noticed one of the worksheets is saying compatibility mode...could that effect it in some way?

So with the file extensions added, the older sheet saved as xlsx instead of xls and the sheet names changed to the actual names and not just sheet1,2 etc it seems to be working
