I have running subtotals with hidden detail below each subtotal, when I hide the detail(collapse the rows) the subtotal reads $0, when I open the detail the subtotal then calculates...

Has anyone experience this problem before?

I don't want the subtotals to dissappear when I hide the detail

Any suggestions would be great!

Thanks in advance,

Yep! Subtotal(9,....)

Sum argument...

Also I noticed that everytime I hit the AutoSum Command button a Subtotal(9,...) formula pops up! this is very weird

I just found out the problem!

I notice in my status bar my sheet was in constant filter mode... I found hidden filtered variables in the sheet and deleted them...

Problem solved!

Thank you for your interest Gates...
