Suggestions to update values based on query results

I have a workbook with 27 sheets that each contain a separate table generated by a Power Query (PQ) query. In each of the sheets, is a cell ("Last Updated") that references the last date the table was refreshed on that sheet. On another sheet, "FileWatch", I am running a query to check the "Date Modified" property of 27 files. What I am attempting to do is automatically update the query tables on the individual sheets only if the "Date Modified" property on the "FileWatch" sheet is different that the "Last Updated" when the query is ran at a specific time interval. I have tried worksheet calculate with a loop to compare the "Last Update" with "Date Modified" however due to memory constraints on the laptop, this takes an exorbitant amount of time and locks me out.

Is there another way that I can accomplish this functionality?
