Sum an unknown range

want to know how to sum an unknown range, say for example i wanted to sum all the values in a column from cell 15 down to the bottom, but i don't want the value to be entered in that column, say it's going to be stored in ColA when the date is in ColB.

How do i go about this?

Hi - welcome to the board!

It's not that hard to perform calculations on changing ranges of cells. But you've really lost me with the "i don't want the value to be entered in that column, say it's going to be stored in ColA when the date is in ColB" bit How about posting a worked through example stating what your data is & the results you'd expect. You could consider downloading the html maker addin fro the link below this post & posting a snapshot of your data to the board.
