Sum cell values matching criteria

Not sure how to go about this, any help would be great. I have a table to capture hours worked, there is a code that denotes if the corresponding hours are standard tome or overtime. example: Mon 7 hours code 2c, Tues 7 hours, code 3c, weds 5 hours code 2c, thurs 2 hours code 4c, fri 2 hours code 2c.

I would like to find all the instances of Code 2c and sum the corresponding hours, same with code 3c & 4c. How would I go about this?

Thanks, I figured it out, all I needed was sumif!
