Hi all,

I need help with a formula that I just can't grasp. I've tried searching the board for most of my lunch hour trying to find something that could help but to no avail.

I have a workbook that my unit needs to keep track of uniform marks. The marks range from 1-10. The cells I have to imput the marks into are for example D1:D15. The formula in D16 needs to give one mark for every score they receive (in cells D1:D15) that's equal to or greater than 7, if they don't achieve that level, they receive nothing.

This is the best I could come up with but obviously returns an error.
=COUNTIF(D1:D15>7)

I would greatly appreciate anyones help!

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
