Sum Entire column or row except few cells in that column or row

Hi everyone, i would like to sum entire "c" column but values are starting from "c5" and values in "c1 to c4" are irrelevant, is there any way to do that?
And same for rows, i want to sum entire row no. 6 but values are starting from "d6" and values in "a6,b6,c6" are irrelevant, how can i do that?

A few ways.

You could always big some large row number value your will never hit, i.e.
=SUM(C5:C9999)

or just do something like this:
=SUM(C:C)-SUM(C1:C4)

Also note that the SUM function will ignore text entries. So if you only have text entries in C1:C4, and no numeric entries, you can simply use:
=SUM(C:C)

Follow the same logic for rows.
