sum excluding dates

I have a range of columns which are alteratively dates and values, and this increases weekly. Can anybody advise if there is a formula that will sum only the values, and eclude the dates?

I would be very garteful for assistance.

Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand

Example formula:

=SUMPRODUCT(--(MOD(COLUMN(A2:N2)-COLUMN(A2),2)=0),A2:N2))

will sum every other column starting with A2 itself.
