Sum Formula For A Filtered Sheet

If I have 200 rows in a report and each row has an amount in column T, so then I filter it and now have 50 rows. How can I get the sum of those 50 rows without the hidden rows? I tried the normal =sum(T4:T200) but it also shows any hidden rows. What can I use? The rows I want may be in 4 differant groups with hidden rows in between. Thanks

Try this...

=SUBTOTAL(9,T4:T200)

That still shows hidden rows. Isnt there a way to only sum visable rows? Thanks

What version of Excel are you using?

This will ignore rows that are hidden by using filters such as autofilter and rows hidden by other means. It requires Excel 2003 or later.

=SUBTOTAL(109,T4:T200)

OPPS sorry. I see that it only works on filtered rows, if I just hid rows it still adds all. Thanks for the formula!!
