Hi,

I am trying to perform a SUMIF function and would like to add multiple criteria but having some trouble.

So what I want to do is

SUMIF(Master!E:E,A2,Master!N:N)

but need to add the criteria

VLOOKUP(A2,Master!E:H,4,FALSE)="Exchange RFS"

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Claire

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
Untested, but something like this?

=SUMPRODUCT(--(Master!$E$1:$E$500=$A$2),--(Master!$H$1:$H$500="Exchange RFS"),(Master!$N$1:$N$500))

Use SUMPRODUCT instead of SUMIF.

Something like this:
Code:
=SUMPRODUCT((Master!E1:E1000=A2)*(Master!H1:H1000="Exchange RFS"),(Master!N1:N1000))

Are you wanting to replace A2 in the SumIf formula with the VLOOKUP formula that uses A2 as lookup value?
