The formula below is not working. I want it to look at the text in A27, and then find the rows in $M$12:$M$848 where the text is matched. If it finds a match then I want it to total the values in the same row in column $AE$12:$AE$848

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Rec. Shared'!$M$12:$M$848)=A27),'Rec. Shared'!$AE$12:$AE$848)

Can anyone help. Thanks.

Try

=SUMPRODUCT(--('Rec. Shared'!$M$12:$M$848=A27),'Rec. Shared'!$AE$12:$AE$848)
