SUM question

Hello, im looking for a formula that will calculate the values in cell A1 and B1 and return a 0$ amount if either of these cells are empty/no data. Any help would be much appreciated. Here's my formula:

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
How about ...

= if(count(a1:b1)=2, sum(a1:b1), 0)
