What I need is the sum of the following things -
1. Cells = a
2. Cells between 2 and 5
3. If cell value is 2 and less than 3 it should add only the value after the decimal.
4. Same applies if the value is 3

Can someone help me solve this?

However, I doubt that that's what you want because your explanation didn't make much sense and the formula makes less sense.

Perhaps along with the sample data you could explain what you expect to get, how you expect to get it, and what cell it would go in/refer to.

So a=My tasks, cells between 2 to 5 would be a date range, any numbers with 2 would be someone who is on leave, any decimals after 2 would mean that person would have worked half day. So I need to sum all this up
