My range has various dates. The criteria needs to be a range from 08/01/02 to 08/31/02 not just a sepcific date. Any sugestions?

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

=SUMIF(DateRange,">="&E2,RangeToSum)-SUMIF(DateRange,">"&F2,RangeToSum)

where DateRange is the range that houses true date, RangeToSum is the range that you want conditionally sum, E2 houses a date like 08/01/02 and F2 another date like 08/31/02.
Note that E2 < F2. This formula computes according an inclusive between condition.
