Sumif : Greater than but less than

I have a problem with a formula and need to add together a list of numbers if less than 1, but greater than 0.5. I just can't seem to get it to work??

=SUMIF(D6:D349,"<0.5") I'm using this for if less than, but can't seem to add the other condition in... I know theres an wasy way doing this...?
