SUMIF in sorted list (auto filter)

Hello all,

I have a three column list as this:

Art no., description, total qty

In the total qty column there are sumif functions. If I sort descending/ascending on article name or number to sumif formula is not sorted along and needs to be re-done.

Is there a workaround or anything I am doing wrong?

Why would you have non-generic formulas in a list? Can you give examples of what you've done, and explain why you've done it that way?

The list is unique products in a bigger order summary (another sheet tab). I want to sum all them and I can't use a pivot table.

You haven't provided even a single example formula. It may be that you simply need to have the relevant criteria stored in the list, but without having any relevant information from you how can I tell?

Here we go: =SUMIF(ContractReport!$E$3:$E$14;Summering!A6;ContractReport!$I$3:$I$4)

I just found out that it works properly if you enter the exact same formula via the formula wizard. That is the strangest thing I've every came across in Excel.
