SUMIF multiple conditions ?

Hi Guys,

I registered to this forum hoping you can solve my issue.

I have the following sheet1:

A B
DE0100
4 1235
1 5465
3 5464
1 1233
DE0200
1 4564
2 4653
.........................

In sheet no.2 i have a table with all the names (DE0100,DE0200) and when entering in a cell (egg B1) the number 2 i would like to bring me the total to that name in month 2. Like this

A B C
1 <--enter a number which symolize the month



DE0100 100000 <-the total from first sheet

My problem is that I must search in a big sheet 7-8 different names and bring only the values from that particular month.

Hope I made myself understood.
