I am trying to write a formula that would say if column A1:A9="100001-Partner administrative" and if column b1:b9=501105 and if column g1:g9=IUL, then give me whatever number is in column C. I tried a Sumif, a sumifs, and a if statment with multiple criteria and can't get it. So, I need a formula that looks for these 3 conditions and then gives me a result and/or the $ amount sitting in column C. Any help would be greatly appreciated. E

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
How about
=SUMIFS(C:C,A:A,"100001-Partner administrative" , B:B,501105,G:G,"IUL")

Do I need to do a control enter or a special enter on arrays? I am getting a #value! error using the aforementioned. which I know it could have to do with the format in the cells that are being referenced. I am double checking that, but open to any other suggestions. E.

SUMIFS('APS (Journal)'!C2:C62,'APS (Journal)'!A2:A54,A11,'APS (Journal)'!B2:B56,B11,'APS (Journal)'!G2:G55,G11)

Is col C hard values, or formulae?

Hard values, format accounting. They were general and I changed them. Made no difference.

Got it, your ranges must be the same length
SUMIFS('APS (Journal)'!C2:C62,'APS (Journal)'!A2:A54,A11,'APS (Journal)'!B2:B56,B11,'APS (Journal)'!G2:G55,G11)
