Sumif problem

Could someone please tell me where Im going wrong?
I have the following formula :
=SUMIF(Transactions!A:A,A3,Transactions!J:J)
Where items in A are account codes, and items in J are dates.
The answer I get from the formula is 0, but I know there should be a date in some of the answers.

Any Ideas?
