SUMIF with multiple criteria

I need to count the average using SUMPRODUCT and SUMIF excluding the empty cells. The function below works like a charm:

=SUMPRODUCT(B$1:D$1*B$2:D2)/SUMIF(B2:D2"<>"B$1:D$1)

Now I would need to be able to also exclude letters that might appear in row 2.
For example, if a letter is put into cell C2, then there will be a #Value error.

Been testing ISNUMBER, AND, SUMIFS, but I was not able to figure it out...

Any takers?
