This is for a small personal project
I have a sheet which has a table in which depending on the teams time, points 1,3 or 5 is awarded to them
I have a sheet with a cell that has a formula that looks at another cell for the result and displays this result.
I have another sheet that has a leaderboard setup which I am trying to sum up all the games results. However the sum function only sees the formula not the actual points which is displayed.
I've looked but not sure if I'm working my query properly.
I appreciate any help... Thanks
John

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
@Phyreguy , can you help the forum help you?

Mr. Excel has a tool here, xl2bb add in (link below) that allows you to share miini worksheets so the forum can copy your data and find a solution.
If you, for some reason, cannot use the add in, then please post your data as a regular html table (not a picture). You'll need to identify column names and sheets for the tables.

thanks in advance.

I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Not figuring how to share book
@awoohaw provided a link to XL2BB in his signature block at the bottom of his post. There is also one in my signature block below. XL2BB does not share the whole workbook (we generally don't need or want that) just a section of the relevant worksheet(s)

I was able to figure this out and using the value function.
Not new to excel but no where a pro with this mostly trial and error.
Thank you for the assistance

In future please do not mark a post as the solution, when it does not contain one. Thanks

Also please update your profile as requested.
