summing green coloured cells

I have a Column of cells K4:K3437, some of them have been coloured green
How do I sum only the coloured cells in the above column?

You might consider the SumByColor UDF

this won't work if the cells have been coloured by conditional formatting

Yes in a normal module should be fine

As I say if the cells are coloured by conditional formatting then it won't work, you will need to look at summing based the criteria in the CF.

Yes this one works better with XL 2010, thanks dave for your help
