# Sumproduct help

##### Well-known Member
Hello all,

I need some help.

Im trying to the sum the total values in Column F , where the text is "W" in column D on the same row.

=SUMPRODUCT(--(\$D\$1:\$D\$96="W"),--(\$F\$1:\$F\$96))

Many Thanks

### Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Couldn't you just use SUMIF?

=SUMIF(D1:D96,"W",F1:F96)

If you're only using criteria from one column (col. D in your example), you can use a SUMIF() formula:

=SUMIF(D1:D96,"W",F1:F96)

Thanks Mate ,

I should have known that, what a dope
