Hi there,

I have a very large file where I want to count the numbers in a column.
If I filter the criteria out I get 2101 but in the cell I have the sumproduct it's only showing as 2099.
Therefore my sumproduct is short by 2.
I was wondering has it got anything to do with the format in the column of cells - that it's not finding a number.
If that is the case how should the cells be formated.
If not that how do I sort it.

Thanks for any help in this matter.

Excel Facts

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
Perhaps some of your numbers are actually text?

If you filter all the 1's, Autofilter will show 1's (numeric) and "1"s (text).

But if your Sumproduct is testing for 1's, it will not include "1"'s.
