SUMX and SAMEPERIODLASYTEAR

Hello,

I have a measure that presents figures correctly for a financial pack:

Actuals - I&E Sign = IF( HASONEFILTER( 'Account Codes'[Account Sub Category] ) ,
SUMX( 'Account Codes' , [Actuals] * 'Account Codes'[I&E Sign] ) ,
[Actuals]
)

I then want to show the prior year version of this, so created:

Prior Year YTD Actuals - I&E Sign = CALCULATE([YTD Actuals - I&E Sign] , SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR( 'Calendar'[Date] ) )

but it shows blank when I filter by 'Account Codes'[Account Sub Category].

I am using the same method for lots of other measures and they work fine, it's just when using time-intelligence that it seems to fall over.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Thanks
Rich

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Hi Matt,

YTD Actuals - I&E Sign = IF( HASONEVALUE( 'Calendar'[Financial Year] ), TOTALYTD( [Actuals - I&E Sign] , 'Calendar'[Date] , "30/06" ) , BLANK() )

(fyi - I am filtering the page to a single Financial Year).

I don't think you need the HASONEVALUE in this formula, and my guess is that this could be the cause (just a guess).

That didn't do the trick unfortunately.

I've replaced all my 'I&E Sign' formulas with equivalents of the SUMX shown originally and that has worked. I wanted to avoid that for simplicity but never mind.

Thanks for the suggestion Matt.
