Excel does not seem to offer this simple format. It offers mm/dd/yy

But I need the entire year showing. If I opt for the entire year, It does not give me the option of a 2 digit month. In other words, m/dd/yyyy.

Is there a format to get the entire date as mm/dd/yyyy?

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Try using a custom format

Choose "custom" from the list and just type the format in the box, i.e.

mm/dd/yyyy
