Hi there

Is there a way to create a survey in excel. I want to create a survey to send to consultants to see how they rate each other.

Can this be done via excel?

Excel Facts

What do {} around a formula in the formula bar mean?
{Formula} means the formula was entered using Ctrl+Shift+Enter signifying an old-style array formula.
Hi, Welcome to MrExcel.

In short, yes, you can create any data gathering form you want in Excel.
See here...

What you don't say, is if you want to be able to take all the data gathered on individual forms and then merge into one spreadsheet for data analysis.

To get the best solution (which I don't have) you will need to provide a little bit more information.

Good luck.

Hi there

Thank you for the reply.

What I would like to do is create a open ended survey. So I want to ask a question and then have a free text box that the consultant can type in. Once they happy with the answer they must be able to click on a next buttonwhich will take them to the next question. I would like all the answers to collate onto one sheet. I would like to send one survey per consultant.

you could try survey monkey, you can email the links to your consultants and have the data sent back to you in excel format.

If you have a google account, they offer the same thing, look under "Documents" "Forms". You can create your own survey form on-line.
