How can I use Excel's sendkeys feature to tab within a Java application fields? It doesn't fall in the normal tab order in Internet Explorer. For example, take this URL http://www.typingtest.com/default.asp After you click "Start Typing Test". It uses a Java app embedded in a webpage. Pressing the tab key,tabs around the application and not to the drop-down boxes. Is there anyway to be able to tab properly thru Excel VBA?

The connection with Excel is it's ability to act like a database. While there are many programs that can automate keystrokes,mouse movements,etc., Excel doesn't just repeat what was played back. I can use variables to modify the keystrokes. For example I can put 50 names in Column A, 50 passwords in Column B and use a for loop to step through and send each username and pass to the correct field in java. But Java doesn't tab properly and I was just wondering is there some workaround to that. Once I get excel in the right place, I can send the keystrokes and then click the button
